Offered at no cost to participants, learners gain a marketable skillset. Upon graduation, these individuals will have an opportunity for a year-long apprenticeship with Interapt to gain necessary hands-on experience. Following the apprenticeship period, graduates have the chance for job placement at one of Interapt’s employer partner organizations.

HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS

1. GET IN TOUCH

Indicate your interest by submitting your contact information via the ‘View All Open Opportunities’ form button.

2. ASSESSMENT

We’ll ask you to complete an online assessment with an overview of technical fundamentals to confirm if this training is right for you! 

3. INTERVIEW

You’ll then interview with our team, where you’ll have the opportunity to elaborate on your work experience and interest in the program. 

4. ACCEPTED

If you pass the interview, you’ll advance on to the training. Classes are typically virtual through video conferencing software.

Our Alumni Network serves as a dynamic platform that fosters meaningful relationships and mutual support. Rooted in the belief that collaboration and camaraderie lead to shared success, our mission is to cultivate an environment where our talent can seamlessly access networking opportunities, valuable career assistance, enriching mentorship, and a vibrant sense of community. If you are an Interapt Alumni or Apprentice, we’re excited to help you get involved!

HOW DOES THE IAN IMPACT ME?

Current Interapt Apprentices will be carefully paired with a mentor – someone with experience as an apprentice with your Employer Partner and/or has similar skillsets and interests. The two of you will meet in self-facilitated mentorship sessions, in which you will learn about your Employer Partner and receive further one-on-one support for your technical and professional development. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in virtual and in-person events catered to broaden your network and skillset.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Follow the registration link below to join. You will be prompted to create your mentor or mentee profile – Alumni will select mentor. Apprentices who have recently started their apprenticeship will select mentee. We strongly encourage apprentices who have reached their 6-Month milestone to consider registering as a mentor. Taking the time to complete your profile helps to find your perfect match!

WHAT IF I'M AN ALUMNI AND I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO MENTOR SOMEONE RIGHT NOW?

That’s OKAY! Still complete your profile on Together so that we can keep you in our directory. During registration, you’ll be able to freeze your profile and will not be paired until you let us know you’re ready – follow this article for step-by-step instructions.
