Building a partnership

Interapt is partnering with The State of Illinois, City of Chicago, Discovery Partners Institute (DPI), and CVS to create a new tech training pathway for people in the Chicagoland area.

With the talent gap and skills gap at an all-time high in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, The State of Illinois, City of Chicago, DPI, CVS Health, Interapt, provide tuition-free technical training + jobs, with a goal of 10,000 individuals over 5 years. This opportunity is different from typical training programs in that it includes a job opportunity for those that pass the 12-week curriculum and interview process.

This partnership also gives Chicago residents an opportunity to develop the technical skills needed to kickstart a new career in data science, software development, digital marketing, UX design, robotic process automation, information technology and other tech related fields.

WHAT COMES NEXT

Land the job, advance your career

In addition to the immersive tech training, students will be eligible to participate in Interapt’s Registered Apprenticeship models with the U.S. Department of Labor, providing them with additional credentials as they enter the workforce. To date, Interapt graduates who have completed these Registered Apprenticeships have gone on to see their earnings potential increase to $100,000 just a few years out of the program.
